So, admittedly, I have always shied away from mud terrains. Know the duratracs are not quite full blown MTs, but still a bit more aggressive tread blocks than the run of the mill all-terrains. Heard elsewhere here about the humming noise around 45 and up being somewhat loud, but honestly that speed doesn't bother me all things considered. But, I hear a pretty loud hum like around 15 - 35, and just want to make sure it is normal and not more of an out of balance kind of thing?

I would honestly have spec'd the all terrains if I had done a special order, and I don't see myself switching out until I basically use up most of the useful life of these (expect selling them as takeoffs wouldn't net me much of anything).

From the build/price tool......".....higher level of noise". Never said that before, so obviously getting complaints. Comes with the "Territory" (pun intended).

I've been rotating mine with every oil change. So far noise is there, but doesn't bother me.
Same here. That stupid TPMS reporgrammer doesn't work that great though. Got a knock-off on amazon for about $12 and have problems every time, takes forever but finally get it.

They do make some noise. I've got about 8k on my truck. I kinda expected the noise.
They do have a good hum, but overall that's expected considering the tread cut. I will say, this being the first Duratracs's I've owned, I'm impressed. I've got 28,000+ on them. They've been great is snow, including deep snow, mud, and rain. I've really taxed them out hunting all over the west, they just bite and keep going. I've rotated them every 6k, and they're wearing well. I'll take some hum considering they're performance.

I'll probably buy another set when that time comes. I don't mind the noise. Everything here is muddy mess ,it rains about every 2 days. Street tread doesn't go too good in the mud.

I got over 53,000 miles on my stock Duratracs , rotated every 5000 miles… They got very loud after the 40,000 mile mark..I switched to BF Goodrich KO2 tires when I installed the BDS lift, I have been very happy with these tires so far..

I have 26k on stock Wranglers. The hum from the front is horrible. Took it to the dealer, they are just saying normal noise but my teeth are rattling. Are they crappy tires or something else?

At 21,000 miles I could not stand listening the the tire drone. At 50-60 mph, I could not even carry on a conversation with the wife. I sold the tires and bought the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires. Same size as the factory. They are great!!!! They look aggressive and are quiet. I highly recommend them.
