I can’t find the darn engine block heater cord for my 2020 LT Trail Boss. Does anyone know if these trucks (especially Canadian trucks) are supposed come with one from the factory, or do I have to purchase it as an accessory from GM? I just watched a YouTube video where the salesman took the cord out from under the back seat, but there’s nothing under mine.

My 22 tb has a special connection (round} in the front bumper. The cord that fits it came with the truck

I lived in Manitoba for a couple years and boy do you guys need engine block heaters out there… coldest weather I’ve ever experienced in my life. I have the same plug next to the driver side tow hook, but no cord anywhere. I’ll go ask the dealership that I bought from.

yeah on my 2023 it was under the back seat.. should be there or in the glove box, otherwise the dealership should get you one..

If it was ordered with the engine block heater(RPO K05), the plug in cable is included.
