So recently I put a borla s type crate muffler on my truck ( 2021 5.3) and I love the sound, but I get a decent amount of cabin noise. I would not call this drone just deep cabin noise. I've done some reading around and one person said that since the OEM tail pipe ends about half way under the bumper and also dumps right into OEM tips (HDMI Ports lol) attached to the truck, that it allows noise to stay under the truck instead of all out the back. I've tried to look into some dual clamp on exhaust tips but them seem to all be with 2.5 in or 3 in which sucks cause the OEM is 2.75. The OEM pipe ends also seems to have a downward tilt, which seems like a clamp on wouldn't work or work hang down weirdly. Anyone got any input on this matter or suggestions. PS I don't wanna add a resonator.
