Exhaust tips

I have 2 sets of exhaust tips. One set is like new chrome, and the other has been powder coated black but the powder coat is bubbling and peeling on one. Anyone looking for some tips?

The tips barely get hot since they aren’t even connected to the exhaust pipes. Surprised the powdercoat didn’t last.

Just make sure you do not try to use an actual sandblaster to get the chrome off or the black powder coat off because it will warp the tips.. they are not very strong

I did some powder coating when I was in the Navy and it seemed pretty hard to mess up unless you didnt heat the metal enough it might not adhere as good as it should.
