I just ordered it and will let you know when I receive it. I have the OBD Linkmx+ for my other vehicles and it works great.

def interested, the Range Technology version you have to pop off the front driver wheel well liner to access the computer and go inline on one of the connections. Not friendly for quick install and removal.

Just received and installed my OBDLINK Carbyte disabler and it works flawlessly. Better than any out there on the market in my opinion and cheaper. It also comes with an App for diagnostics. I have owned other OBDLINK products and had zero trouble with any of them. Just plug it into the obd2 port and forget about it. Awesome!

Ordered mine yesterday, hopefully have by end of the week. Can't wait, even though I'm used to starting my drive in L9 now, but buy being in that mode seems to hold the gears longer so will assume will even be smoother in D with this disabler. Truck drives absolutely miserable with DFM active.

They ship very fast. Great company to deal with and prompt support if needed. It's a new product from them and I will imagine their sales will fly off the walls when people get to know this.

I got home from work and was in my mailbox, super quick shipping! I installed it last night and wasn't having much luck, I installed and followed the simple instructions that it came with but wasn't working. I downloaded the app and it connected fine, the app said full V8 mode and start\stop disabled but it wasn't. Shut the truck off and tried again, still can hear DFM (have an exhaust) and truck turns off at a stop. Ready to head to work this morning and my FOB won't remote start the truck but no CEL on the dash. Then on my way into work, the module decided to work and truck drove SOOOO smooth and didn't turn off at stops. So, conclusion so far is that is has been hit or miss and seemed to disable my key fob remote start option. Will update after I mess with it a little more today. Fingers crossed it works fine from here on out.

All I did was plug mine in and it worked and hasn't quit working. Love it!

Quick update, even though I kind of posted the same in another thread I just don't want people to make the same mistake as me. Spoke to Carbyte and seems their module doesn't active until 40mph then it is good the rest of the drive. Not sure why they don't mention that on their website or manual, but they refunded me and understood my reasoning given i do a lot of city driving under 30mph. This also now makes sense why it worked on my way to work since I get on a 65mph road. On to Range Technology, was told by their customer service that it works on startup.

When you say it's good the rest of the drive, do you mean it works under 40mph until you shut the motor off?
