So, I finally took delivery last week!

2022 Refresh - Dark Ash Metallic 5.3L

Love this truck!!!!

Already put 295/70r18 Ridge Grapplers, Borla Touring exhaust, and Go Rhino Dominator D6 running boards.

Tonneau goes on tomorrow.

Thanks for all the knowledge y’all have shared. It sure makes it easy to know how to proceed with the experience shared on this forum.

Just saw that color tonight on a dealer lot. Looks more purple than my Shadow Gray truck under the lot lights. I'd like to see it in person in the daylight.

Honestly, I got "lucky". This truck was inbound, when I visited the dealership, and I put money down on it, as it had been ordered.

That being said I put my hold money on April 15th and picked it up on June 29th.

I wouldn't have even known about them, except for y'all on this forum. And, they're awesome.

I really want the AMP Powersteps, but they're not setup for the 2022 refresh, yet (new electronics).

I really like the shadow grey, too. The dark ash is the replacement on the refresh's.

There sometimes is a bit of purple in it, in the right light (it's possible that the fluorescents on a showroom floor with the blueish light they put off, my really bring it out), but for the most part it either looks really dark grey or even black.

Oh. And, I for got to mention. I'm so said...The DFM chip wasn't available for my truck. So, I won't have that feature...

I like the color as well! I had to drive 6 hours and a deposit on my 22 refresh, just happened to find it as it was on a truck about to be delivered. I had a deposit on another truck locally that they kept saying would be in within a couple weeks and canceled that order. That was months ago and that truck never arrived so I feel pretty good about the decision lol. I’m sure you’ll love the truck, I love mine!
