I want a Rigid or Baja Designs, pod type light to replace the factory fog lights and ideally be controlled by the factory button on/off for the original.
A DRL feature would be cool but I could care less.
Preferably Amber.

Has anyone does this?
How? Can you send me pictures? Where can I buy? How much?
…if you’re willing
Thanks!

here are some pics from this morning 🤙🏻

Here is the LTW Motorsports bracket, with BD squadron sports. The amber is wired to the factory switch, the white is on a bluetooth switch it uses a wireless remote, all the wiring stays under hood.

Yes! This is what I’m looking for. Very clean. How much did that whole set up run you? Did you install yourself? I don’t mess with with wiring so I’m wondering what it’s cost me to have the shop install the same.

there are pricey, the combo lense it a little to be desired if you want them to throw....these are far better DRIVING light replacements. i swap the Yellow lense to factory amber

you have 2 wiring options,
1.use the supplied harness, 2 hook ups at the battery
2. use the supplied plug to replace teh factory plug....really easy, but nest to have a good wire crimp tool
similar to these https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ttn-11956

what did you use for the blue tooth switch? I would like to do that but white to the truck switch and amber on blue tooth.

i went with the Auxbeam wireless, it has a remote and app controls as well.

Ditch lights for fog lights work pretty well if you don't want the +$700 replacements for the bottom!

I REALLY hope you're not driving around with those on in traffic.

that sounds like a you problem ^^^^^

Don't know about your state, but any light mods added that did not come as standard on the vehicle are strictly for off-roading. Also, if the lighting added is above the headlights, which the ditch lights are as you know, these are strictly for off-road use. So, as GETGONE stated, hope you are not using these in traffic. I have off-road lighting and I can say I do turn them on while driving on the "street" (I do reside in a very rural area as well), but I only have them on when no traffic is oncoming or I am behind someone. I would hate someone blinding me, so I don't do it to anyone else.

Common sense to you both..... Obviously not driving with them on, slightly stupid assumption and those assumptions queue up stupid responses. We have the LAW BRIGADE in here!

Then a simple, courteous answer would have been the better thing to say.

trust me when i say...the folks in my area, who have additional lights...ALL seem t have them wired to ignition ON sources.
i cannot tell you how many run every accessory light they can add all day long.

it is mind blowing to see this fiasco...
