I noticed yesterday while looking at my TB that the gab space on my passenger side front steel bumper is noticeably not as tight as the driver side to the upper plastic bumper. Anyone else notice this on theirs and is there away to adjust this without having to go to the dealer? I will if have too. It is under warranty. Dealer is just far away.

Im not minimizing your concerns.
I have a couple high end Japanese vehicles in addition to my TB. I appreciate them all for what they are and how I use them. I definitely don’t compare panel gaps or paint quality.
Post some photos so we can compare them to our trucks👍

I will as soon as I can get my truck out of my garage. Having some work done on the house and the work trucks are blocking my exit out to snap a photo.

Here is what I am seeing. Let me know if you think I am being too high maintenance about this. My truck only has 650 miles on it. Bought in July.

The average person would never notice that, but now that you've pointed it out you can't un-see it.
I'd look into how the bumper is attached and see if you could rig it up to either raise one side, or lower the other.

On second look, I think it's the driver's side body panel that is out of place, not the bumper. DS panel seems recessed from the bumper, while PS seems even or proud of the bumper. PS side looks to be correct to me.

Thanks, I’ll take a look at that closer. I was assuming that it had to be the metal bumper.

Keller, not sure if I see what you are seeing in my photos. But I will say if I look from the bottom up, the bumper does look even. If it is the driver side panel, how would I adjust that?

yes, you can slightly adjust the allignment with the bumper mounting bolts and attaching hardware.

So far this is all I have found regarding this issue, but it is for a 2018 Silverado bumper adjustment. Not sure if this is going to be the same procedure for adjusting the height, but I think if I have to take the grill apart, I am going to take it to the dealer for the fix.

Do you have a video link or a site that explains in detail?
I've pulled my bumper 3-4 times, and its 4 bolts that hold it on. Two on the bottom corners next to the fender wells, and two under the grill. The bolt holes are large enough to allow for minor maneuvering of the bumper, and the tabs for mounting it can be bent with a little effort to adjust for height if need be.

yours is a 2021? I think that is still different than the refresh model. All the bumper removal videos I see for the refresh require and extra set of hands and looks a little more involved to get to those bolts for height adjustment. If it was simple I would do it myself but since it is under warranty, maybe when I go for one of the free oil changes I'll get them to adjust it. That way if they break it, they fix it.

Definitely the way to go if it's still under warranty. Yes, my truck is the 19-21 body style.

Well I went to the dealer today (just happen to be near there) and the service person had the Autobody manager take a look at my bumper. He agreed that the spacing of the bumper was out of specs and stated that it would take about 2 hours to adjust but wanted me to leave it with them for the day. I could not, but I told him I could schedule it for early next week. He said schedule it and drop it off in the morning and it should be done by end of day. So it is going in on Monday, hopefully to be corrected. I was glad that they didn't fight me on it or say something like "it is barely noticeable". I was ready for anything that they would say. Lol. I was already telling them "the truck doesn't have 1k miles on it yet, I shouldn't have this problem on a new truck". But so far they were cool about it. So, we shall see.
I also noticed, there were no new LT TB's on the lot for sale. Other Silverado's but the LT's. Saw a couple Custom TB's but that was it. Either they are not getting them or they selling them fast as they get them. I know mine went quick. It had just gotten delivered when I enquired about it from online. I saw "in transit" when I first asked about it. They looked it up and said it just got delivered and was being prepped for the lot. I told them don't bother putting that one out for sale, I want it. And then it was sold to me that day. :)
Anyway I will update you all after the work is done next week.
