is anyone running an aftermarket front camera that will will work with the factory video screen like the backup camera. the visibility over the hood and front is pretty tough to navigate off road without a spotter which I don't have most of the time.

Man I am by no means an expert (there are a few on this board for sure) but all my research on the topic suggested it wasn't possible.

I had hoped I could swap a 2022 dash but I kind of gave up because it was waaaaay over my head.

Thanks, same thing i am finding out. Was hoping to not have to add another screen because some of the trails you come across and you are looking at the sky hoping to be on the trail or pick the right line gives the ole pucker affect until you can see the trail again. the search continues because I really don't want to consider a jeep, spent to much upgrading the TB.

I am equally interested in a front camera that would hook up to the current dash display.

This company seems to be offering a Front Camera for 2019-2022 Silverado trucks.

I have sent them a message asking for more information, specifically asking if their camera displays through the stock screen.

Thank you and waiting to see what they offer for a 2021 TB.

I emailed them earlier today about this same thing for a 22+ TB.

If they respond back, I'll update the thread.

Worst case scenario, rather than convince myself to trade-in for a higher trim or model like the ZR2, or downsize to a new Gladiator and build it out, I'll just install an aftermarket solution with an additional screen.

also saw this....

Requires some additional components / software:

I understand all too much where you're coming from on this as I have a similar experience when parking this beast in a parking lot with a vehicle in front of me. I just pulled in ahead of another Chevy and it looked like I was ready to hit bumper to bumper, the wife got out to guide me and showed me I had 3ft to go...😆

I do that too and when I get out, I feel like people look at me like I have no idea how to drive. 😭

I am wondering if anyone is familiar with either of these options?

I back in to every parking spot. I use the hell out of my reverse camera because I don't have a front camera, lol.

Hey I came across this thread as I am a new 2024 Trail Boss LT owner and I have been looking for a front camera option as well. I have seen the Intellihaul option but that part alone is well over $1000 and I think they charge close to $1000 at the dealership to install. I reached out to this MVI company that had a module for the Chevy 19-22 models to see if they have one for later models with the larger screen. They actually do now. its not cheap, but about $400 cheaper than the intellihoul option. I have been texting with a rep all afternoon. He showed some screenshots. and Ill share the details of our text messages below hopefully to helps others out. The phone umber I was texting is (720) 310-3874 if others wish to reach out.
