Last week my check engine light came on. (2024 TB 9600 miles) I dropped it off at a local dealer yesterday and picked it up today being told the issue was "a glitch" in the ECM. I was told they reprogrammed the ECM and that fixed the issue. When I asked for more details about the issue, I was just told the same thing, just a glitch in the ECM. Does anybody have any more info on exactly what that means?

Not sure what "glitch" means, but I just had 24 TB in for the ECM upgrade and everything seems fine. I only had radio issues to begin with though.

I have a 24 with a 6.2 and after the update i got a check engine light. It stayed on for about 60 miles and went off after a restroom break. Dropped it off and Chevy said could not find anything must have been a glitch!! Wth ?

With all the sensors we have, dirt...wiggled connection, what ever....you could see a light that goes away and never returns.

It happens, sadly...but noone cares to explain what or how, if the computer doesn't point to something

A solid light is a sensor read error
A flashing light is a live problem...stop and diagnose

One dealership told me the same thing about the light. She said she couldn't get the truck in for 2 weeks. I told her I didn't want to drive it that long with a check engine light on. She said "as long as the light isn't flashing, you're fine to drive it until it does"...

I just called around and got the earliest appointment i could. I'm fortunate to have 4 dealerships within 30 minutes of where I live.

I just had the same thing. My '19 TB with 84k threw out a code for fuel pump. Said a simple update was needed if engine light came back. Its a common thing with these apparently.

what issues
Sometimes when I shut the motor off the radio would go back to whatever station presets it had when I bought the truck. I would set the radio again and again, but the same thing would happen for about 6 months, now it seems to be fixed after the update.

That just sounds possessed! 😂

I had the update done. My volume control wouldnt work. Blue tooth would not connect, when on the phone with blue tooth there is a cracking popping coming from the driver front speaker. Starting to piss me off

My infotainment is weird too - it prefers to choose the songs I listen to. Sometimes it will allow me to choose, but often, it just chooses on its own.
