Heater temperature?

Random question but what temp should be reading coming from your vent when heat is on? If you have it set on 75 degrees, should the heat be blowing at that temp or what.

My understanding is that in AUTO mode the heat or AC will do whatever it wants in order to get the ambient cabin temp to the setpoint.
Turning AUTO off I find makes the temp settings only a mere estimation.

So with AUTO off, setting the dials to 75 I would not expect the air to blow out the vents at 75 degrees.

I use AUTO almost all the time, only using "Hi" to speed up defrost on a winter day.

Keller is correct. Without auto, my air temperatures seem to go back and forth from warm air to cool air when I have my temperature set anywhere from 70-75 degrees. Auto uses the air conditioning but it will help mainting a more consistent temperature in your cab.
