Looking forward to gaining knowledge. Looking to install a Ready Lift SST 2-1 kit on 2023 lt trail boss. Has anyone had any issues with Auto 4wd or other driveline parts.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good knowledge and suggestions here. I can’t speak for everybody, but I atleast haven’t seen anybody on here complain of driveline issues with the RL 2.0 sst under normal conditions and new upper control arm installed.

As far as auto 4wd, I think it’s still up in the air. Obviously RL suggests not using it. Off the top of my head I know moderator Jmzvet used auto 4wd in some snowy conditions awhile back and reported no issues. Others just choose to use 4 high or low in those conditions rather than relying on the truck to make that decision for them. In theory I can see the potential issue but I’m not sure how that translates to reality. Probably just depends on how much you actually plan to use 4 auto.

Thanks, very appreciated trust me. Be honest I've never had auto 4wd. Live in New England so whether changes on the dime. I'm going to call Ready Lift tomorrow and see what they have to say. I have one of their kits in a older work truck and to be honest never had a problem. Lift kits are the way to go in my opinion but the prices are another story...thank you once again.

Welcome to the forum!

4wd auto is not something I would ever need or use. I did use it one time in the snow just to see if I felt or heard anything odd. I didn’t 👍

You’re welcome. I do not have the RL, but this is the fourth truck I’ve owned with auto 4wd. I live in Oklahoma and tend to use auto 4wd in winter like conditions the most. Obviously Oklahoma is not known for severe winter weather where I may need 4 high for miles in snow. It tends to be patchy, slick spots or partially non cleared roads or highway. So 4 auto, similar to an all wheel drive, is my go to in those conditions; 2wd most of the time but transitions to 4 wheel when slip is detected.
