HELP!

I went to do the first cleanup on my four week old Custom Trail Boss and used some of the Armor All Glass Wipes. I guess the wipes weren’t as moist as they should have been or something was on the headlights that I didn’t see. There are some fine scratches that I can see now with my lights on. They could have even been there before I started. I don’t know. I tried some Meguiar’s Ultimate Polish with very light pressure to no avail. I didn’t want to get too aggressive. Are the fine scratches inevitable, or is there something that I can do to remedy this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Almost makes me sick to think that I did this to a truck that I have only had for around a month.

Not a big deal. You need a polish with a little more abrasive in it. A headlight polishing kit would probably take care of it. Unless you really scratched it deep.

I am a little worried about going that aggressive. I really do not want to lose the factory UV protectant. I might just have to live with it. After looking at it, I almost believe the scratches are on the inside.
