Anyone seen anything like this on theirs? 2021 5.3 Custom TB (Black) just under 46,000 miles. Going to swing by the dealer since Corrosion Warranty is 6/100,000 but totally surprised by what I saw.

Only noticing it on the hood - across the whole thing

Do you park outside and let bird poop or tree sap sit on the paint?

I'm in a place with a lot of snow and instead of using salt we cover the highways with sand and gravel. It definitely saves a lot of vehicles but at the price of hoods and windshields. Are you in a similar situation or drive on busy gravel roads a lot? It really looks like rock chip damage.

Bird poop yes - but I wash it once a month plus it rains often - not allot of rock chips especially as wide spread as the roof indicates

I thought it looked like bird poop. It is VERY acidic and will eat the paint if you don't get it off ASAP.

I'm pretty good at washing it off - I'll see what the dealer says when I take it in

It almost looks like what happened to my wife's Tahoe when she was parked by a person running a metal grinder, and the sparks were landing on her vehicle.
