How big of tire

How big of a tire can i add to my stock trail boss with just a mud flap delete?

I think anything larger than 275 70 18 may rub.

295/70/r18 I took the muds off and it will on rub very minimally when i'm full tilt on an incline

I have 295/70/18 on stock wheels and no rub with normal everyday driving.
