I didn’t pay for onstar and i have an annoying message randomly that says im offline so i can’t do that you can listen to music or make phone calls. Is there a way to shut her up?
You can use the hot spot on your phone and connect your truck to that...other than that, I'm unsure at the moment...but that's what I do myself.I didn’t pay for onstar and i have an annoying message randomly that says im offline so i can’t do that you can listen to music or make phone calls. Thank you, its just a pain in the a s .You can use the hot spot on your phone and connect your truck to that...other than that, I'm unsure at the moment...but that's what I do myself.
I get it...lolThank you, its just a pain in the a s .
Well thank you for that! I just dont want to have to turn on my hotspot every time i get in the truck.I get it...lol
I can look into other options tomorrow possibly and let you know if you would like...my phone is pretty easy to use for the hot spot, so I didn't bother digging any deeper.
So, I was messing around a little more today..Well thank you for that! I just dont want to have to turn on my hotspot every time i get in the truck.
I have shut off the google assistant to no avail. I will try a hot spot and see if that works. Thanks for your help withthis! So, I was messing around a little more today..
It seems like you can turn off the Google assistant as an option, or another option that I would only use if for some reason I didn't want to use OnStar for data service, because last I knew they used ATT... You could get a mobile hotspot...but the only reason I would go that route is if ATT didn't work in my area.
I was going to see if I could use Android Auto but I had deactivated that earlier and it wasn't cooperating with me.
I know, not much help but I hope you're a little better off than before.
It's seems that if you just keep it plugged in inside your truck to keep if charged up, once you connect it the first time it'll be good to go...it should just connect automatically when you start the truck.I have shut off the google assistant to no avail. Suggestion…I bought a data plan for OnStar so I could stream a program while driving cross country. I was told by the dealership I had a multi system. Electrical failure caused by a bad OnStar module . This included ABS and I believe traction control. Had no idea my ABS was out. Good to find this out in September before having to rely on ABS sliding through a busy intersection on icy streets in December.I didn’t pay for onstar and i have an annoying message randomly that says im offline so i can’t do that you can listen to music or make phone calls.
