Has anyone had any luck installing Adaptive Cruise Control after purchasing their truck or have any info on what parts would be needed?

I had this feature on my previous vehicle and loved it. Unfortunately, I was not able to find a TB configured with it anywhere near my area. I feel like this truck has all the cameras and sensors needed for it, I might just be lacking a control module that can be fairly easily installed.

Do the “refresh “2022s offer it?
If not, it would be really difficult to add it yourself. Believe it requires a fwd facing camera.

Yup, it is a $500 option for mine. It seems like the truck has everything hardware wise to make it happen, I'm just not having much luck finding info onlinw yet. Steering wheel has the button to shift the follow gap for ACC, there's a camera that detects a vehicle in front of me, etc.

I'd love to put it on my Refreshed TB. I didn't know it was available for my truck because the Configurator was not up for the Refreshed model when I ordered it. Both our Toyota Camry's have it it kinda nice on the back roads, I turn it off on the Interstate.

Anyone know if this is possible yet?
I called around to several dealerships right around the time I posted this and they all said it was impossible to add features after purchase. I haven't dug in to it since then, but it might be worth checking in to again.

The same dealerships will probably tell you it's impossible to change your halogen license plate bulbs to LED  .

GM won't give dealers the tools to program in additional features after you purchase the truck. Hell, my dealer refused to program the FOG LIGHTS that I bought because I didn't buy it from them, even though the kit came with the authorization code from GM to program them in.

Yeah that was my takeaway. It's pretty silly since I would pay good money for some of these things. Hell I know I've got a spot for the HUD to be installed, but no software support for it.
