Intro: 2025 1500 Custom Trail Boss & Loving It!

Just bought a retired service/demo Custom TB with 5.3L. Because demos are considered untitled, discounts and rebates for new vehicles are applicable. I was able to stack GM supplier discount, dealer discount, GM cash and trade in assistance, Costco member discount, 1st responder discount, and had competitive prices from other local dealers who also had demos available. I got a screaming deal. So far, this is by far my favorite truck I've owned. Love the bench seat and basic interior with beefed up mechanical bits. With previous trucks I got suckered into higher trim levels which in my opinion had too many unnecessary features prone to failure and "luxury" finishes that didn't have the durability required by my truck usage. So far the only upgrades I've done are: added under rear seat storage, Extang Solid Fold 2.0 tonneau (swapped off/direct fit from my old 2020 1500 LTZ), and LED headlight assembly swap. Planned mods are Pulsar LT to delete auto start/stop and DFM, swapping the factory muffler for a Borla Atak crate muffler, and new tires. Gonna try to put 285/60r20 Toyo Open Country AT3 in with no level or wheel spacers. Will delete mudflaps and make trim adjustments if necessary.
