The factory leather seats are pretty boring. Anyone have Katzkin or any other leather upgrade?

Got a set of Clazzio's on the way. Went with the real leather option, red and black with red stitching. Actually just got word yesterday afternoon that they have shipped, so should be getting them later this week.

I initially wanted the Katskinz but I also did not want to have to pay someone to do it or have to remove the existing fabric to install them. Read a ton of great reviews on the Clazzio's, so ordered a set

Also ordered the red stitched leather steering wheel cover from East Detailing with the red stripe at 12 o'clock. Did this to match the new covers coming. Steering wheel cover requires stitching once in place, but looks factory and pretty bad ass

I bought Alea leather before my truck had come in but I haven't had time to put them on(yeah it's been almost 2 years). I bought a power driver seat and stripped it but was trying to sort out adding heated seat and set it aside. It's black with diamond stitching on the bolsters and the stitching is silver/gray.

On a serious note a buddy of mine has had Katskinz on his past 3 or 4 trucks and talks highly of them as far a quality, value and options for stitching and piping.

I did Katzkins they look great but not great quality for $1500. I had a long road trip and one of the rear passenger sweat caused damage to the seats. Katzkins will not cover under warranty. The perforated material soaks up water and starts to swell. I started having to carry towels anytime we go to the beach or the lake or road trip to protect the seats. I would look at the other brands.

i can share some of the pictures. i have to be super carefull when it rains or even kids spilling something. My factore leather in my 2013 GMC i've never had any issues.

The factory leather looks and wears like vinyl which I guess is not a bad thing.

I've never had to worry going from the boat to the truck with damp trunks. now is a different story. Good thing it doesnt rain much in southern ca.

It mostly is. The seat face upper and lower is the only real leather, the rest is vinyl. My Alea covers are vinyl sides and back. I believe Katzkin are nearly all leather.

I don't think the middle perforated section is leather. I can see white threads.
