No audio usually coincides with a blank info screen - The Dealer updated software. - Outcome: Still does it once every few months. I have to let it sit for a while and then start it back up.
Outward dents and crease from factory - This was in 2021 right after I bought the truck. I got blamed of having bad paintless dent removal at my local dealer. I called the dealer I bought it from, that is over 2 hours away and had to drive it up for them to look at it. A sales manager with the Jersey Shore vibe was a total jerk the moment I got there, was toally dismissive like the dents weren't a big deal, and was trying to get out of repairing it. Finally the service manager got a dent guy over and he said that the outward dents were from poor quality control on the machines that slap these trucks together. They fixed the dents, but when I got home I noticed a crease. Instead of driving back, I just called a dent guy and paid him. He said that these trucks were notorious for imperfections and started pointing out other things.
White foggy imperfection in windshield - It looked like someone touched the film in the middle of the tempered glass. The dealer finally replaced it, but then the foam trim inside the window started falling off and they had to reinstall it.
Faulty back-up sensors - "Rear Park Assist Off" kept showing up on the screen when backing up or even taking off from a stop. This shut off the proximity sensor so you it didn't show the bars that show how close you are getting to an object. The dealer tried to say that I must have towed something. I kept telling them that I had nothing on the back before. First they replaced the bezels...waste of time. Then they finally replaced all the sensors and it works fine.
Poor fuel economy - I am pretty sure the first time the dealer said they couldn't find any issues. The second time was after I installed 33 inch tires and they blamed it on that. The overall average is 12-13mpg, but I am used to seeing it show 10-11mpg.
Check engine light misfire code (one time) - Dealer didn't have an answer. I'm guessing its because of the DFM.
Defective battery - I let the truck sit for a couple of months, so maybe it was because of that, but they replaced it anyway.
OnStar/Sirius pop-up every time the vehicle was started after the OnStar trial period - Called the dealer to see if they could clear the "OnStar cannot find Sirius account" or whatever it said, even though I kept Sirius. Called OnStar and they said I would have to sign up again to clear it. This was so stupid! So, I signed up for a 1-month trial and cancelled. The notification is gone.
