I have a 2022 TrailBoss LT Refresh and plan on swapping out the license plate and reverse light halogens with LASFIT LED'S. Are there any other halogens i should swap out ? And was anybody concerned with the warning in the owners manual about swapping the halogens out with led's and it voiding anykind of warranty ? This is what it says in the manual.....
Caution
Do not replace incandescent bulbs with
aftermarket LED replacement bulbs. This
can cause damage to the vehicle electrical
system.

News to me about the LED bulbs... I guess I missed that part in my owners manual... My LED headlights are working just fine in my 21 Custom TB and no problems with the electrical system at 32K miles. First thing I did was change out the headlights as those Halogens are hideous.

Only other place I would check is the front directional bulbs. On the 2021 I had to swap those out as well.
Thanks for that. I looked at your profile picture and it seems the light configuration is different from 2021 to 2022. My front turn signals are integrated into the drl lens. im thinking they are already LED.

I replaced my license plate lights / backup lights / front turn signal's. With LASFIT Led Bulbs. On my 2022 LDT TB. Was going to do 3 rd. brake light and cargo lights but you need to remove the inner head console. No way was I going to attempt that job.

Front turn signals need to be replaced also.. I did license plate, reverse lights and front turn signals on mine with last fit ..

I put the LASFIT reverse and license plate bulbs on mine and they work great. Reverse is VERY bright now. Will do front turn signals in the spring.

Has anyone had any issues with their Lasfit reverse lights? Maybe I'm doing something wrong but it's a simple plug in bulb... the bulb keeps burning out on my driver side reverse light. Good thing I still have one extra from when the last bulb burned out.

I put the Lasfit reverse and license plate lights on my 21 Trail Boss LT and have had no issues. Super bright when backing up! They have been installed for over a year now.

Nothing other than the normal stuff I do for any bulb replacement.
1. Wear gloves. I use Nitrile gloves, dont want oils from fingers to get on bulbs. This could cause premature burnout, but not at the rate you are seeing.
2. Dielectric grease for better contact.

I hope they start working!

I did both of these Lasfits replacements and have been fine for a few months. I had one in the first pack of the reverse bulbs that didn't work. Tried dealing with the company directly for a single bulb replacement and they were non-responsive. So I ordered another pack and returned it. Sorry if you ended up with one of my bad bulbs...

As far as the license plate lights, they look better, but I agree they are too bright. Might consider smoke tinting the housing. Either way those absolutely sucked to replace between the tow hitch and dual pipes.

These new low voltage lighting systems are finicky as heck. I've had nothing but issues with my LED taillights and now one of my Recon tail lights has malfunctioned. I'm almost at the point of regretting messing with the lighting system at all.
Personally, I will never change another bulb on this truck to anything but OEM.
