Hey all,

I have a 2021 LT Trail Boss and I love the truck….but I’m not in love with the headlights or the lighting in general. I don’t feel like they are bright enough at night. The fog lights help a bit but I’m looking for suggestions on upgrades.

On my previous truck I had LEDs with the fan motor mounted in the back, and they were crazy bright. The low beams when on lit up the road. The stock LEDs on my LT just aren’t bright enough in my opinion. But it could also be the design of the headlight itself.

Gotcha I had a 16' z71 with LED's and there was a big jump from that to my TB, I do have the rough country grill lights and I love them super bright affordable and they look like they belong. I dont drive country roads often unless were headed to the ranch but those help. I was also looking at the all lights on bypass to keep all my lights on when I want to.

my leveled 23 gets flashed daily, and i make sure to adjust my lights...even the fogs are a noticeable change when they are on...mine seem to work great and light up the road.

Remember, the older you get, the more light your eyes need...
i am 48, and mine are fine...

This set up works great for me. Rough Country ditch lights and their curved 30 inch bar on the bumper. Bar is 30,000 lumens combo spot/flood. Ditch lights are flood and can be turned outwards. I have 180 degrees of light.
The problem with headlights is not just brightness, they are bright. Todays LEDs are focused sharply. Before I put the ditch lights on wheeling at night was like having a black hole on both sides of the truck.

Sweet rig and good options thank you

Thank you. I will consider those options for install. The base lights IMHO don’t throw enough light
I had the same thoughts when I got my ‘21 LT. What I did not realize was how much more light the dashboard was putting out vs. my ‘11 1500 LT. I found that dimming the interior lights made a tremendous difference and combined with the fog lights (which I always use at night) are adequate for regular roads.

That said, I did stumble across this thread researching light bars for some ideas for getting extra light on the dark country roads that make up a lot of the driving I do (including the road I live on).
