Is this MAF sensor cleanable?

I bought throttle body cleaner and it was a twin pack that came with MAF sensor cleaner.

The MAF sensor does not look like a traditional sensor like I had on 2002 z71 Tahoe with 5.3

Just looks like a little computer card....
No coils and what not

Can you clean this thing? If so, how and what do you use to clean it?

MAF sensor cleaner is made for cleaning it. You spray the board and it doesn't effect the electronics and evaporates without any residue left. I haven't pulled the one from my truck to see where the actual sensor piece is. I used to use a cotton swab to lightly brush the sensor in the old MAFs like you were talking about in your 2002.

I cleaned MAF today when I removed /cleaned throttle body.

On the MAF SENSOR, there is a little channel/opening at the end....I'm assuming that's the business end...that's where I sprayed MAF sensor cleaner.

Reinstalled both components. Tb was filthy. Replaced air filter as well.

Was worth the time.

Spark plug replacements next.
