Does the 2" standard lift on the Trail Boss not do anything to allow for a bigger tire size?

the concern will be up front, I have a 19 custom and put on a RC 1.5' leveling and then went from the stock 18" with duratracs to 35x12.5x20 on an aftermarket wheel. doing this the wheel measurements needed to allow UCA clearance however I had to trim 2/3 of the mud flap and still get a slight rub at full turn in reverse sometimes. I along with many hate the fact that Chevy did not have these leveled at the factory for the type of truck they sold it as.

I wouldn’t gain anything, I’m running 275/70

i guess I don’t see what the stock 2”lift does…basically nothing
I should have asked if you were running 18” or 20” wheels. True for 20 inch I’m not sure on a higher size as I went from stock 275/65/18 to the 275/70/18.

The stock lift does what it is intended to do....add ground clearance.

That's it...nothing to the body for larger tires....just clearance on the tires already offered
