Does anyone know what this dial does? It’s on the driver side of my center console, forward towards dash side, in the little storage area. It twists a full turn either left or right, but I can’t seem to find anything adjusting or changing when doing so. Is it aftermarket?? 2021 LT trailboss. Thanks!

Yes, bought it used from a local Chevy dealership recently. They don’t know what it is and I can’t find anything on google. Which makes me think it’s something aftermarket.

Looks like a bass control knob. Probably for an aftermarket amplifier.

i have something similar, for my AMP...i have it in the side of the console as it doesnt get adjusted very oftern

Thanks guys! That’s it, I looked under the passenger front seat and see an amp. This also explains why there wasn’t a spare tire jack and tool under the back seat, there must’ve been subs before. I’m guessing the dial doesn’t do anything since there isn’t anything currently hooked up to the amp?

Keep that amp! It’s a great amp.

that is correct, it is a GAIN adjustment...not an INCREASE THE BASS knob.

once you have a sub, you can then play with it for the desired sound you want.
