Traded my 2017 Z71 for a 2023 Custom Trail Boss. Now I have to set it up the way my old truck was. Installed the Tekonsha trailer brake in the factory location. Its pretty nice. You can set it all up on your phone and its cheaper than the factory unit. The bakflip bed cover from the 2017 fit so saved a grand there !!!!. Also installed the rearview mirror with the monitor screen in it and wired the camera wires back to the bumper to hook up to the RV camera. Air bags should be next.

Airbags installed. Plumbed in a bypass to use it as a compressor or service bags if the compressor fails. Installed the switch and gauge in the glove box. That was tricky.

I saved most of the stuff when I traded in my 2017 Z71. I left the bags on the trade in so I bought the torque brand bags from Amazon. Now my butt won’t sag when I pull the camper or put heavy stuff in the back. It’s like having a 2500HD for the day. Then dump the air and go back to a nice ride and 20 MPG.
