New 2023 Trail Boss-Dmak

Hello to all. Purchased a new 2023 Trail Boss in July. I love it but have had some issues. First off was the "dead battery" problem. This happened twice. An up-date by a local dealer fix'd that. I have since logged in over 10,000 miles. At 9,500 miles my (mpg) dropped 20% and 50% when towing my M/C trailer. Have yet to solve this problem. Going to dis-connect battery to see if this re-sets the trucks programming. If not, another trip to the dealer.

Dead battery was a know issue with a certain failed over the air update. The mpg drop is an interesting one, lot of factors go into it obviously weight of trailer and cargo, what engine, as well as weather and road conditions among others. Atleast to me 10-35% would be reasonable but 50% seems excessive unless pulling a close to max tow load, extremely steep terrain, or strong head winds.
