Hi everybody. Brand new Trail Boss owner here. Just bought a 2025 Trail Boss LT, 6.2L, with the stock 2” lift. The pickup came with Bridgestone Dueler 275/60/r20. I don’t care for the look of that tire, but I recently purchased BFG K02 285/55/r20 for the vehicle I traded in (thinking, of course, that I was going to keep it longer). Anyhow, the dealership will let me put my KO2’s on the Trail Boss. I think the KO2’s are better tires than the Dueler. Height won’t be an issue as they will be just a bit smaller in diameter. But, I can’t find much of this particular width on here and they want to do this tomorrow. Anybody have info on if this 285/55/r20 will work for a stock setup? I am a little nervous about width room and I don’t want new control arms or spacers.

Think this is a good idea going with the KO2’s at 285/55/20 vs. Duelers at 275/60/20?

Appreciate the thoughts or experience you may have on this. Thanks!

the 285 seems to be hit or miss depending on the tire brand and wheel diameter. i want to say the 20" wheel clears better as the tire bubble is slightly higher in comparison to the BJ area of the upper arm
