Hi everyone! I’m new here but on my second TB. Should’ve never sold the first one, but I’m enjoying my latest one so far. It’s a certified pre-owned. New ones are just too high priced, plus I have a payment on a brand new Camaro 2SS 1LE. I’ve already got loads of parts ordered for it and will share as they get installed.

Here are a couple pics. I debadged the chrome to make way for black emblems and got rid of some horrendous side steps that were on it. Probably going with amp research steps. Ready lift sst 2.0 is here, pulsar LT is here, lo-pro tri-fold bed cover is here, Chevy bed mat is here, stake hole covers are here, CAI intake, AWE exhaust are all here. Just need to find some time to do some wrenching. Tint appointment is in a couple weeks. Thanks for looking!

I have some questions about the ready lift that I can’t seem to get solid answers to, so if anyone has experience with replacing ranchos with bilstein 6112/5160’s, please hit me up!

Congrats on both those beauties. Are you going to install the 6112s at the factory height snap ring and rely on the Readylift for the lift/leveling then?

I went a different route and elected to go with 5100’s front and rear for now along with the readylift 2.0. The parts are in my garage just waiting on me, so not installed yet. I will be using stock height for the clips on the front shocks though and just rely on the additional lift from the ready lift kit.

What's wrong with those steps? They are the same ones I have on my truck. iBoards and they are aluminum. The only crap part is the poorly coated steel mounting brackets that rusted after one winter. I pulled them off in one piece and sprayed them with Bully Liner that is shredded rubber bed liner that can be bought at Walmart for about $30 a can.

Getgone, if they work for you then that’s great. I personally didn’t like the looks of them and the fact that the coating was coming off the entire boards. They’re long gone now. I’m going without steps for the foreseeable future, we’ll see if that changes when the lift gets installed.
