just bought a new 2022 6.2 liter trail boss and was wondering what are if any the consequences of running 91 octane fuel

While you're towing you should probably up it back to 93

By "most states" do you mean just out west where you also have 85 octane gas? The eastern United States carries 87-93 octane as typical grades. Never as low as 85.

Yes. Id say about 1/2 the U.S. has 91 octane as the highest readily available.
I could be wrong which happens often
