New to the crowd. On my 2nd TB.
I had a '24 1500 LT TB 5.3 in Metallic Gray. It wasn't cutting it for me. I needed to up the payload, and towing capacity.

I traded, and drove out with a '25 3500 LTZ 6.6 gasser. Extremely happy with it.
I threw on some wide RC RPT2 boards, and waiting on a bed cover. Adding an on board ARB compressor, and just adding the little things.

🤙

Thanks.
Pulling has not been too heavy. For a few years we’ve been pulling an airstream at about 6k dry. Beach and remote camping. Half tons were getting it done nicely.

We have access to a couple of Northern lite slide in truck campers. I’m shopping for a keeper. I’ll be picking up a decent enclosed trailer for hauling purchased shop equipment. My wife runs a non profit business that will allow people to use the shop. Metal working, welding, Wood working, fabrication, CNC etc. The business is just moving into site selection. Similar businesses run under the Maker Space titles.

Oh man, first the 2500 envy hit me; now there's a 3500 Trail Boss?

Hi, my name is Keller and I have Trail Boss 1500 inferiority complex. 🤣
The 1500 LT Trail Boss was a sweet truck. It just wasn’t gonna cut it. If you go —>> 2500 —>> 3500, you’ll be one of the biggest supporters of the refineries. To and from my work compound is about 90 miles round trip. 80/20 highway to 30/40 mph single lane with lights. I’m averaging 17-18 with a light touch, and turtle starts. My 1500 Ram Rebel was about 24/25. The 1500 Trail Boss with 5.3 could be coaxed up to about 23🤞🙏🏼. This 3500 has the L8T gas. Half of the diesel torque?? It’s a big ol pig, but I love it so far. The 360° camera system makes it a breeze for the wife to operate the truck. The 20” wheels are not the greatest for the sugar sand I go through, but they’ve worked so far. I’d like 18 or 17 set up for payload as well. I’m not certain how small I can go, and still carry 4000 lbs. research time. 17s with 35 would make me happy. Can never have too much sidewall in the deep sugar sand.

I’ll push it through the paces over the next few months.

Enjoy that 1500 TB. 🙏🏼🤙🏼
