Welcome aboard! Be sure to read the issues with the hood "scoop" peeling the paint off. I've posted pics of mine that you can see. If yours hasn't already started, it likely will. Nice truck!

Remove the hood scoop before it damages your paint and wait for the fix

You 2022 guys have different problems than us with possible lifter issues

Or remove it and lay a layer of clear paint protection film down where the scoop touches the paint to absorb vibration which is causing the paint to chip in the first place.

Looks great, I'm thinking of ordering one soon as well for the 2023 model. I was curious, how wide is the truck including the mirrors? All I can find is info without the mirrors included, got to see if I can squeeze it in the garage or not.

Recently got a ‘22 refreshed Trail Boss with the 5.3 in Northsky Blue Metallic

Loving the truck so far. Big upgrade from my 2015 1500 LT Z71.

I noticed mine has two small chips where the corner of the scoop meets the hood closest to the windshield. Hasn't gotten any worse since I noticed a few weeks ago.

I got a single car garage and it fits with about 4 inches on each sides. Door is 9x7

So far have not seen any chips on hood. I got the 5.3 without DFM, L84/Y09 engine
