Just bought my first ever GM truck this week: 2020 TB LT. Did lots of research before switching from Rams. Had three Rams the last 10-15 years. I’m a forester and use my truck for work every day. I always buy 6.5’ crew cab beds and those Rams are hard to find with low miles. I drive about 30-35k per year. I’m was concerned about 5.3 engine issues but the truck has GM certified until 100k so I’ll give it a try for the next couple of years. It seems like a great truck so far. Rams ride nicer but the TB has a better interior layout and bed space is wider. I think once the stock Goodyears are burnt up and replaced with a better AT tire like Nitto or Falken it will ride smooth & quiet. Thanks for the invite and look forward to learning more about this Gen GM truck. I do most of my own non warranty maintenance and basic repairs so I’ll be doing lots of reading and video watching 😂.

Welcome to the forum. Good looking truck. 6.5’ bed and tow mirrors is probably a pretty rare find for the trail boss as well. Hope it serves you well, sounds like you’ll put it to the test.

Get ready for people to offer to buy your mirrors. GM trucks are pretty easy to work on if there's a problem. The Chevy ride is more tough because of the rear leaf springs. Once you put some weight in the rear it'll ride more smoothly.

Not even 24 hours. I told you it would happen. I've been dealing with it for 3.5 years now. Ain't nobody offered enough money yet, lol.

I wouldn’t think the mirrors would be a big deal because they’re the same ones they put on all the 3/4 ton Chevy trucks

If I understood the inner workings of how people think I'd probably be a messiah or an oracle. I'm neither.
