Hello everyone, thanks for admitting me. I just bought a new-to-me 2019 Trail Boss. We are a GM family. My wife started with a Chevy Spectrum when we first got married, moved onto a Pontiac Grand Prix (the last brand new vehicle we've bought), onto a 2002 Tahoe which we "handed down" to our daughter at which point she bought a 2014 Tahoe. Last year we retired the 2002 Hoe; still runs great but as Neil Young sang "rust never sleeps" and the frame rotted out. We handed down the 2014 to my daughter and my wife upgraded to a 2018 Tahoe.
My GM journey began with a used Chevy Luv in 1982; then a 1987 V10 short bed Scottsdale square body 5.7l I bought brand new (my last new vehicle). I then had a 1985 2500 5.7l, a 2002 2500HD Duramax, a 2004 2500HD 6.0l, a 2010 2500HD 6.0l and onto my 2019 Trail Boss. Along the way I had a 1995 K3500 dump truck with a 6.5 diesel. My current farm truck is a 1988 GMC 3500 square body cab and chassis with a custom-built flatbed dump with a 7.4l carbureted with a 4-speed manual transmission. I also currently have a nearly mint 1991 GMC Jimmy with a 5.7l engine that pretty much remains topless and only gets driven in nice weather.
We have a small farm where we primarily make maple syrup, some hay, and some cordwood.
Thanks again!
