New Trailboss LT owner

Hey guys, I just purchased my 2021 Lt trail boss last Saturday and I love it so far! I am coming from a 2010 ram 1500 ( Still have) and love the comfort and how quiet and sturdy the truck feels in comparison although I do miss the power the hemi has since my truck has the 5.3. I look forward to checking the forums for upgrades I will end up doing! Hope everyone has a great one!.

Congrats man! Good looking truck! I got mine about 2 months ago and could not be happier! I did get the 2021 6.2 10 speed but even with the 5.3 there are things that will make huge difference. These things i did to my 2008 sierra as well as just put them on my TB: 1) cold air i take, i went with Cold Air Inductions brand 2) Borla catback Touring exhaust 3) Wesdon double wall black exhaust tips. Fyi, all these are bolt on and supported under GM warranty so no risk. Lastlly adding Pulsar LT control module to eliminate the DFM. I can tell you it will make a difference, slight improvement in gas milage, big increase in response and performance and nice deep tone growl that is apparent when you step on it but without any cabin drone. Just some ideas man.

No worries man look forward to hearing what you decide! One last note, if you go flow master 40 or a more aggressive muffler you may NOT want to cut off the flapper valve. Before i went Borla catback i did 40 series and it sounded like an attack helicopter when DFM kicked in. When in V8 loved the sound but combination of very loud drone at cruising and that sound when DFM kicked in was too much. With the flapper in place the drone will be your only issue. Hope that helps.
