From what I've seen online, the only difference in the sport mode is increased throttle response (pedal voltage) and tighter steering. Some claim an increase in power (i think this is a placebo effect from the increased throttle response), and some claim a difference in shift points. But the 10 speed is already smooth as butter.
You can get a Pulsar or something similar that doesn't ding your warranty because it doesnt write on ECU, and it allows you to turn off active fuel management, turn off auto on/off, change throttle response, change tire size calibration, etc. So that would do most of what the sport mode does & then probably more.
Bottom line, this chip shortage SUCKS
