Oil catch can?

Anyone use an oil catch can? I am looking at them for my 5.3. Any opinion welcome.

This is what I got to fit in my 2020 5.3. So far so good.

So far, I haven’t really caught that much oil in it. The clean side seems to be just that, clean. The dirty side is about 1oz at 4K miles. I haven’t tested others but I think it would be sweet to hear some other testimonies here!

Anybody else have catch can input? I'm curious about this for my 5.3 as well. Hearing/reading horror stories of these GDI engines and would like to get out ahead of potential issues.

Just ordered a JLT 3.0 for mine. Better to rid the system of vaporized oil. Why is this not a stock installed item? Expensive new trucks with low rent problems set to kill them.

Funny you say that, stock Camaros actually have this and oil drains back into the crankcase. I have no answer why the trucks do not have it

Ignorance. Doesn't impact emissions negatively. California just likes to control people. Shameful how they "regulate" things. There are ways around it.

I had one on my 19 Tahoe and the amount of oil it caught was crazy. Luckily it fits on my 21 Trail Boss so I transferred it over. I wouldn’t go without it.
