Oil filter question

So I ordered what was advertised as the same part number for the oem acdelco oil filter and I received this. Will this filter work with my 6.2?

AC Delco's website says it will.

PF63 is the correct filter, although on another forum someone posted it was superseded by PF63E. I run Purolator Pure One or Boss filters on mine. They're rated very highly and cost quite a bit less than a Mobil 1 or K&N filter.

I've been running these AC Delco filters in my 6.2 for 36 k now. Not saying that is a ton of miles, but no issues to date. I get them at the dealer a few at a time, same thing they use for dealer oil changes.
