OnStar Demo mode - Lost trailers

For whatever reason, my Onstar went into demo mode. So, it says its in demo mode every time I start up the truck. Also, at the same time, I lost all my trailers settings. I did take the time to set up all three of my trailers in the "system". Now they are gone.

Is there anyway I can completely remove Onstar? Not that I am paranoid of tracking or anything, even though that is creepy. I just want it gone at this point.

Just found the onstar disable -

So, the video above doesn't have all the steps. You have to remove the side panels like you are installing the autostop eliminator. I did not want to do all that just yet.

I did find on another forum you can just unplug the antenna. I found the maroon colored connector by the gas pedal underneath and unplugged it. I tried a test call to OnStar and it basically does the same thing. There was no reception to communicate once the cable was unplugged. Super easy.
