Is a Hellwig rear sway bar worth getting in the 5.3L 2020 Silverado Lt Trail Boss?
I notice this truck swings in the slightest bit of moisture and was curious as to whether or not a rear sway bar would tighten it up some. I like the Hellwig tubular rear sway bar, it’s nice and sturdy looking. Would look into getting the front one too if it matters.
Thanks!

Are you experiencing body roll or tire spin? The G80 locker can hit hard when it locks up and cause a little rear end drift in the wet... The springs and shocks are a little soft on the TB to accommodate better articulation off road. A sway bar would tighten up the suspension on road, but hurt that articulation when crawling through a washed out dirt road etc... IMHO a stiffer shock than the stock Rancho is probably what you are after.

Will check that out as an option. Thank you!

Just bought the rear sway bar a few weeks ago and it definitely tightened up the handling. Hitting the ramps getting onto the highway are a big difference. If you are wondering which model to get, the #7780 says that it is not for lifted trucks but I called Hellwig and spoke to someone and he said the 7780 will fit the Trail Boss with the 2" lift. Just about everyone is selling this bar for over $700 but I found one online MUCH cheaper, like $295! Instructions are not the best, if you decide to get it
shoot me an email at [email protected] and I'll give you some tips as instructions are not the best. One side took me over two hours until I figured out a trick on the install.

Looks like it has threaded end links? That would be great if you end up lifting more or for those with standard Silverados.

Sorry for the slow reply, they are threaded and with the factory 2" lift they are still screwed in most of the way. Maybe 3/4" of threads showing. This kit is supposed to be for standard silverados, but fit mine just fine.
