I’ve got a 2021 trailboss, LT, with less than 7k miles on it. It test drove just fine, but over time my steering has gotten really sensitive and darty.

I took it to 2 dealers, first dealer said alignment was good, no codes, nothing looked mechanically wronged and returned it to me with no further fix.

the second dealer did an alignment, the truck drive great for 2 days, went back to being sensitive. I took it back, and was told the same as the first. No codes, alignment was good, and nothing looked mechanically wrong so they couldn’t help me.

Is anyone else having this problem? It’s annoying having to micro manage the steering, and I’m afraid to take my eyes off the road.

I have not experienced that at all. Not with the stock Duratrax or my current Toyos.
Did you have a truck prior to the TB or are you coming from a car or SUV? I drive my wife’s Acura suv and it’s obviously more stable and handles better than a truck.
Maybe the dealer will let you drive a TB or a regular Silverado to see if it feels the same?

My last 4 vehicles have been trucks. I was going to ask the dealer if I could drive another Silverado, but I’m not sure it will do much good. This TB drove completely fine for the first 2k-3k miles.

Does your Trail Boss have the safety package with the lane assist??? I had a '17 GMC that did and would ``dart' if I happened to move the wheel to correct my alignment in the lane and the `lane assist' corrected at the same time. It would be a bit scary! This would not be a constant thing though. It was just a random timing thing.

To my knowledge, no. If it does, there’s no way to disable it, and there’s indication that I have it, or it’s turned on. Took it to the dealer again, I’ve been told that I either need to wait until a code, or mechanical fault is visible, or trade it.
