2021 Chevy Silverado Custom Trail boss
I have a 2021 trail boss 6.2 with 34k miles on it. The only aftermarket besides muffler delete is a pulsar lt. My truck went into limp mode and through a p2138 (throttle/position sensor) code. I cleared the code and it happend again a week later. Anyone have this issue before? Could this issue relate to the pulsar lt?

remove the pulsar for a few days. it very well could be the pulsar, so start by ruling that out.

Thank you. I removed it so we will see what happens. Anyone else have an issue like this when using the pulsar lt? I checked every forum that i could and i dont see anything.

Pulsar lt has been removed for about a month now and that appears to have fixed the issue. Now that its safe to assume the pulsar lt is the issue. How do we fix that? Is that something the manufacturer would diagnose and fix?

Thanks for letting us know what seems to be the solution to the issue you had. I’d suggest reaching out to Pulsar and seeing if they’ve had any other reports of a p2138 being thrown.

Did it end up being the pulsar? Im running into the same problem i have a 2019 sierra with the 6.2 and all ive done is install the Pulsar LT truck goes into limp mode and displays just about every message service ecs, stc, parking brake and a few more i cant remember and also reduced engine power. I turn the truck off and then back on and everything disappears truck goes back to normal not even a check engine light and its done this a couple of times when i go to hook up my scanner it just shows a bunch of loss of communication to a bunch of modules except for last night it did I again and now the check engine light stayed on so I scanned it again and the code P2138 shows up so im not entirely sure of what to do im debating in taking it to the dealer but found this post and im not sure if to take the pulsar off or run it in to see what they say

Make sure to check your ground straps. Multiple and intermittent problems have been associated with the large braided ground straps corroding from the inside out due to salt/winter conditions. On the Chevys located to the rear of the passenger side front wheel behind the liner. I would think it would be same location for your GMC.
