Phone charger problem

Has anyone else had a problem with the phone charger (under the center console) overheating your iPhone? It made mine really hot to the touch and it was weirding out for a while after. I shut it down and back up and it is still working. Nothing on my phone except for a standard plastic protective case. The USB-C jack and a cable work fine.

Dang, a door leak and a charger issue? No issues whatsoever with my Trail Boss. I hope it's an easy fix!

If it is getting hot it may be it is struggling to maintain Qi connection, possibly look at:

I don't seem to have an issue with a 17 pro max, but other phones won't fit the same.

I printed a 3d spacer like in the video which keeps my iPhone mini in the proper placement.

It has happened to my Samsung Galaxy.
