Phone connection issues

Hello all. First time post but have enjoyed all the upgrades and pics.
2020 LT 5.3
I have occasional phone connection issues. Most times it connects fine but then there is the frustrating part and it can't see the contacts. Does anyone else have this issue? Found any way to correct it permanently?

Are you using CarPlay or the GM Audio interface?

There have been reports of Carplay issues when connecting through the USB ports in the center console instead of the plugs in the dash. I never experienced it but have read a lot of posts online about it.

I have the 2020 LT TB and always use CarPlay plugged in the USB, no issues with anything like that… Try erasing your phone from your truck and then reload it, sometimes a simple thing like this works.. Best wishes.

Yes, also in CarPlay, when you do an IOS upgrade or upgrade iPhones, you have to erase the current phone stored in the truck and reconnect with CarPlay. Make sure Bluetooth and WiFi are turned on

I connect via the dash USB. I am also using android if that matters. Also it happens via bluetooth at times as well.
