I’m torn on whether or not to get a set of Bora 1.5 inch spacers. I am running 295/70/18 Recon Grapplers and the truck looks good. Can’t help but wonder if a little poke would really set the truck off or make it tacky. Any thoughts or pics would be helpful. Pics as the truck currently sits:

This is mine with 1.5" spacers, running 285/75r18s on the stock rims.

I still am rubbing a tiny bit.

The spacers give the truck the stance it should have came with imo.

I recommend them for sure.

Just remember that more poke causes an increase in the swing arc of your steering which means more likely your tires will rub on the fender wells. If you don't have a level it will definitely rub. There's a video floating around on here that explains wheel offsets really well.

As a matter of fact...here it is 🤙

Agree with mrcolimen. Avoiding the rub and trying ensure it’s not an issue offroad, I went with a positive 18 wheel offset and 35x11.5 Falcons. With a level and mud flap delete, it hasn’t rubbed yet.

I currently have the stock 18's and stock Goodyears on factory suspension with 1.5" spacers, I am hoping with the ready lift kit in the front and mud flap delete/support bar behind it I will be rub free. Nobody like chafing.

i have after market rims on mine with a -12 offset. basically pushing each wheel out the 1.5" you're talking about.
Stance is great, but much further out will start to look excessive.

Do it!

i have RL 1.75" front level, flap delete and -12 rims (1.5") and ZERO rubbing. 👌

good to know, i was actually thinking about more of the "bubba" look with 17's. Wheels and tires are def cheaper with 17" and i think they look better too so win win.

exactly what i did. went from stock 18's to -12 17's,. with extra tire sidewall. ALWAYS look so much better than trucks with larger rims.

I installed the 1.5" spacers and I really like the stance. That being said do you have a lift or level? I tried to install 285/75/r18's on my stock TB and they rubbed the inner wheel well so bad I had to remove them until I can afford my level. My wheel and tire setup is also stock
