I'm considering having a BDS 4" suspension installed on my 2022 but I'm concerned that I may get push back in the event that I have an issue with something that would normally be covered under the GM factory warranty.
I am aware that claims related to suspension and or axle shafts would most likely be denied, but I'm mostly concerned about having to battle over any claim or issue that's not related to the modifications.
Does anyone who has modified their suspension have any input good or bad that they could provide based interactions with their GM dealer?

I have the BDS 6" overall height (four plus the two, is what I believe you are comparing). I Have had zero issues with the system. BDS is the best you can buy and had it installed by the reputable off-road shop tied to GM. I have put on close to 10K of miles on the vehicle with the BDS ladder bars as well and with the warranty you get from BDS I am unsure it would cost you. Just do it!

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prohibits manufacturers from denying warranty coverage simply due to the fact that you have aftermarket parts. They must prove that the aftermarket part is the source of the problem in order to deny coverage. I brought in my truck to have lifters replaced over a year ago, and I was a little worried about having a cold air intake and cat-back exhaust. That's when I learned about this law. And sure enough, they didn't say a word about it and replaced my lifters with no questions asked.

Thanks for some good clarification! I heard that there was some consumer protection but wasn't sure.👍

I have the BDS on my truck, over 12,000 happy miles and BDS has a lifetime warranty on parts… Adding the lift should not effect any warranty work that has nothing to do with the suspension or drive train..I have had some warranty issues taken care of after adding the lift and didn’t have any issues getting it pushed through GM.. some pictures to help you make your decision 👍

I've heard alot of really good reviews on BDS and your input really adds clout to it.
Great to hear that you weren't jerked around by GM with your warranty claims. Even without mods dealing that can be a nightmare.
Your truck looks awesome, thanks for the input!
