PPE Trans Cooler Install Feedback — 2021 Trail Boss 5.3 / 10L80

I’m installing a PPE transmission cooler on my 2021 Trail Boss (5.3 / 10L80).
Looking for feedback from anyone who’s actually replaced the cooler on this setup:
Any surprises during removal or install?

• Best routing for the lines compared to stock?
• Mounting or clearance issues in the condenser stack?
• Anything different from OEM that slowed you down?
• How much fluid did you end up adding and how did you verify level at temp?

just a reminder, the CORRECT way you verify trans fluid level, is to drive and continually check until no more is needed. do not think, just filling in the driveway will get you where it needs to be....

the old "had my trans serviced and the it failed" comes to mind...you have to evacuate all air pocket potentials.
that it one of the main reasons for trans failure after a filter change, LOW FLUID levels. drive a few mile, check and repeat until no level change is noticed.
