Hi,

wondering if anyone has tried hill descent while having a Pulsar LT installed? I ask because I'm not sure if part of hill descent is dinking with the DFM stuff at all or if its all ABS related. I can't find a definitive description of how hill descent works technically.

Thanks,
Chris.

Not sure since I live in the flatlands of NW Ohio, but there was another thread on here or the other site that discuss the "range" module not allowing engine braking, which I would believe is same as hill descent control. That individual wasn't using "Pulsar" but the OBDII range deactivator. Same company - not sure if they both behave the same or not.

I had the Pulsar LT while using hill descent. I didn't have any issues in that regard. No issues at all, really. I eventually ditched the Pulsar LT, however, for a tuner that adds some power while offering all of the same features of the Pulsar LT. Still no issues that you are describing. Hope that helps!

I used hill descent once with the Pulsar and it set my throttle response to the -10% or whatever level 1 is. Thought I screwed the truck up royally until I realized what had happened. The hill descent didn't seem to work either.
