Question about exhaust

Hello everyone. I just purchased a 2021 TrailBoss with the 6.2. I bought the truck from a dealership in MI and I'm in ATL so I never heard the truck prior to receiving it.

I was assuming one of my first mods would be a new exhaust setup. I was thinking of trying the muffler delete with the flapper delete as well.

Upon cranking up the truck, I was pleasantly surprised with what I thought was the stock sound, but after inspection it looks like my exhaust is not stock. The muffler is clamped on and there is no DFM flapper.

Do I have the GM performance exhaust? There is nothing in the VIN check about it and it's not in the window sticker. The muffler has no branding on it.

is there an impression on the top side of the casing...it looks alot like a magna flow replacement.

they did offer a bolt in replacement i thought, but it may be a delete pipe and muffler...or is there a small resonator can off of the main pipe ahead of your pic...

Thank you for the response @Stormin08 ! I appreciate the support here. I checked the top and there is no impression. And no resonators. I guess this one will remain a mystery, haha. But I think it sounds good.

It's probably a generic muffler / pipes fabricated by an exhaust shop. That was the way everyone did it "Back in the Day"

the bend in the pipe doesnt appear to be small a small shop bend. that is a mandrel bent piece...most likely bought.

it could be anyone of several...but the list of WHO made these for GM is not long...a quick search appears to match JBA or Corsa

any other exhaust parts swapped ? or just mid pipe and muffler ?

looks like magnaflow but they usually say magnaflow on the muffler

No other parts. Just the midpipe and muffler. Still has the stock tips. Looking at images of possible options, I'm thinking it's a Corsa as they don't appear to have any markings or stamps on their mufflers. Either way, I like the way it sounds so one less part to change...... for now

Kinda sounds like the Borla Atak but yes that’s weird that it is not branded!

What is the sound like in the cab, and does it drone?. My Dodge Ram I had before this was just to loud inside after a swap and it droned sometimes

No drone at all. Cold start sounds really good, but it's not really loud at all on the road unless I really get on it, and even then it's not all that loud.
