Hello all. So a buddy of mine buys and repairs crashed vehicles. He's quite the magician. Yesterday we purchased a 2021 Custom TB which he will be rebuilding for me to purchase from him. We're going to go for a murdered-out black look. I'm busily researching mods and such. Your favorite suggestions would be welcome. Absolutely LOVE seeing all the beautiful Bosses on this forum. I look forward to learning and participating here. I'm currently in Los Angeles, but planning a move home to Maine. Thanks in advance,

Joshua

Welcome to the forum, look forward to seeing what you and your buddy do to it. As of now I’m really digging what’s going on with the passenger side 😂

Here’s another members truck, good example of all blacked out. . .

Holy crap. Thank you. I saved that picture earlier and then wanted to reference it, but couldn’t find it! Love that truck. That’s a refresh, right? Even so, that truck is the general direction I’m headed. Thanks so much for providing that.

And yes, the passenger side is the bright spot right now. But so is the operative word: Opportunity.

Good luck. Keep us posted👍

Murdered out is perfect after what that truck has been through. Where is it bleeding from? That dosn't look good,

Since your going to be replacing half your front suspention I'm with MrColieman. Don't go OEM. Rebuild it with good stuff on both sides.

Actually, he took delivery today. The good news is that the bleed looks to only be from a crushed oil filter.

I'm not looking to go with a lift, maybe just leveling and UCAs. And while I am willing to spend some to upgrade parts that need to be replaced anyway, that long travel suspension is a bit too rich. I'd have to become a YouTuber to pay for that!

Your truck is beautiful. The picture you have posted of it backed in is actually one I have used on my idea board for this build.

This one's just a Custom,. Kinda wish it was an LT. But it isn't.

I drove a work car occasionally with super dark tint back when I worked in LE. Hated it. I never felt like I could see enough, especially at night. I think I'd like to go 35% on the front sides, 50% on the rear sides and 50% on the rear window. Thinking about an eyebrow up front. I have one on my G35 now and like it. I think those tint numbers will be enough to get a good blacked-out look.
